At Edgewater Brands, we strive to ensure our customers are satisfied with their purchases. However, if you need to return an item, we are here to help. This Return Policy outlines the conditions under which returns are accepted and how the process works.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following strict criteria:
- The item must be unopened. The original packaging must be intact and in its original, sealed condition. Any signs of tampering or opening will render the item ineligible for a return.
- The item must be unused. The product must not have been used, worn, or altered in any way. It must be in the same new condition that you received it.
- The return must be initiated within 30 days from the date of delivery. The delivery date will be determined by the tracking information provided by the shipping carrier.
Items that do not meet these criteria will not be accepted for return and will be sent back to the customer at their expense.
Return Process
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: You must first contact our customer service team at info@edgewaterbrands.com within 30 days of receiving your item to request a return authorization. Please include your order number and the reason for your return in your email.
- Receive Authorization: If your item is eligible for a return based on the criteria above, we will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions on how to send back your item.
- Package Your Item: Securely package the unopened and unused item in its original packaging. Include any accessories, manuals, or documentation that were originally included with the product.
- Ship Your Item: You are responsible for all return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit. Clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the package.
Returns must be shipped to the address provided with your RMA number. Do not send items back without first obtaining an RMA number, as they will not be accepted.
Inspection and Refunds
Once we receive your returned item, it will be inspected to ensure it meets our return eligibility criteria. This inspection process may take up to 5-7 business days.
- Approved Returns: If your return is approved, we will process a refund to your original method of payment for the purchase price of the item. Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable. You will receive an email notification once your refund has been processed. Please allow an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your card issuer's policies.
- Rejected Returns: If your return is not approved because it does not meet the eligibility criteria (e.g., the item is opened, used, or damaged), we will notify you via email. You will have the option to have the item shipped back to you at your expense. If you do not respond or arrange for return shipping within 14 days, the item will be disposed of.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, you will need to return the original item according to this policy for a refund and place a new order for the desired item.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is damaged or incorrect, please contact our customer service team at info@edgewaterbrands.com within 48 hours of delivery. We will provide instructions on how to proceed with a replacement or refund for damaged or incorrect items. In such cases, Edgewater Brands will cover the cost of return shipping.
Modifications to Return Policy
Edgewater Brands reserves the right to modify this Return Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on our website. It is your responsibility to review this Return Policy periodically for any changes.
